Ordinarily we would have to gather at a fine restaurant to experience an acclaimed chef ‘s takes on comfort classics. But young&foodish once again lures a rising culinary star out of his comfort zone and into ours. For one Monday night only Ben Spalding of Roganic will set up shop behind the flat-top griddle of Andrew’s Grays Inn greasy spoon to put his signature on a burger.
So what will this inventive young champion of British ingredients do with this American classic? For now Ben will disclose only some pieces of a puzzle that won’t come together as a detailed menu until showtime :
- White Soup, Burnt Toast
- Burger and Chips
- Monday Sundae
Ben’s BurgerMonday pop-up will be divided into five overlapping sittings beginning at 6:45pm, 7:15pm, 7:45pm, 8:15pm and 8:45pm and lasting about 90 minutes. Beer and wine are complimentary.
