Rarely does a menu tell you so much AND so little. For their BurgerMonday homage to burgers, the ingeniously experimental chefs Mike Knowlden and Josh Pollen, co-founders, with Amy Houston, of Blanch & Shock Food Design, will present 11 custom garnishes. Some will adorn an actual burger, in their customary supporting role. Nothing strange about that. The rest will share centre stage on a mysterious starter plate as garnishes with nothing to garnish, except each other.

What is one to make of a hay bun? Or a chicken skin topping? Or a malt and coffee dessert burger? Only Mike and Josh know for sure – or so we hope.

This BurgerMonday pop-up will be divided into five overlapping sittings beginning at 6:45pm, 7:15pm, 7:45pm, 8:15pm and 8:45pm. Each sitting will last from 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 hours.
