Janet - It seems you are not alone: filter coffee is making a comeback. Notes Music & Coffee, the coffee shop featured here, brews superb filter coffee - what you call regular coffee - using pour-over and syphon coffee makers. There are several other London coffee shops that take their regular coffee very seriously, too. I wouldn't know where to find something comparable in your area of Scotland. Maybe someone else will know.

That's great about espresso and pizza but what about just regular coffee? I'm tired of not being able to get just a cup of coffee in a restaurant here. Why do I always have to order a latte or cappuccino? Starbuck's is nice but where can I get a good ol' cup of Joe? LOL Besides my house that is!
